RELIEF PROGRAM

USDA's Farm and Food Workers Relief Program (FFWR) provides a one-time, $600 payment for expenses incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you were a frontline worker in USDA approved farming and meatpacking activities during the pandemic period, you may qualify.


Who is eligible to apply?

What is needed to apply?

Eligible beneficiaries are Frontline workers engaged in farming and meatpacking activities between January 27, 2020 and May 11, 2023.

All eligible workers, regardless of immigration status, may apply to the FFWR program.

Workers will need to provide sufficient proof of employment at a food processing facility, meatpacking facility or farm.

Examples of Proof of Employment Documentation:

  • W-2 Tax Form

  • Paystub

  • H2A Visa / H2B Visa

  • Employer Verification Form/Letter/Contract

Workers must also submit sufficient proof of identity when requesting funds.

Examples of Proof of Identity Documents:

  • Consular or Government Issued Identification (any country)

  • Non-Photo Identification: Two forms of other documentation with individual’s name

  • H2A Visa/ H2B Visa

  • Employer Issued Identification

  • Any other photo identification

    *Expired Identifications are acceptable
